Joe was born in Ellicott City, MD and moved to Knoxville, TN in 2011. He attended George Washington University and received a BS in economics, while lettering all 4 years in baseball for the Colonials. He played 2 years of professional baseball before graduating with his Master’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Economic Policy Analysis. Joe was a baseball recruiting coordinator at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY before becoming a high school math and economics teacher in Tennessee. Like teaching, helping people is what has drawn Joe to the world of insurance. Outside of teaching and working with insurance, Joe enjoys playing guitar, golf, cooking, and watching football.
